    Different assessments can be offered such as diagnostic clarification, personality and developmental assessments including ADHD assessments.

    Note: Not currently offering assessments from March 2025 due to full capacity for assessments.

  • 1:1 Therapy (Teleheatlh & In-person)

    Individual sessions can be accessed for several presentations including mental health issues such as everyday stress or excessive worrying, to mental health disorders requiring treatment or life adjustments such as Depression or Anxiety.

  • Supervision & Mentorship

    As a Board Approved supervisor, clinical supervision can be offered for early career psychologists as well as clinical psychology registrars seeking to gain Clinical Endorsement.   • Training & Workshops

    Specialist workshops can be provided to different organisations regarding specialised topics such as Psychological first aid, Wellbeing, Psycho-education and working with culturally responsive therapy, cultural humility and workshops on intergenerational trauma and identity work.

FAQ

    • Consultation fee (50 mins+): $260. With a Medicare rebate of $145.25 (for a Clinical Psychologist), the gap you would pay is approximately $114.75. There is no additional charge for Saturdays or after-hours. This fee applies to both in-clinic and Telehealth appointments.

    • You do not need a referral to see a psychologist; however, with a GP referral under a Mental Health Treatment Plan (Better Access), you are eligible for a Medicare rebate of $145.25 per session with a Clinical Psychologist for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

    • Bulk-billing services are not offered at this clinic. On exceptional grounds, a sliding fee schedule is available for students experiencing financial hardship.

    • Our clinic service fees are significantly below the National Recommended Fee. The Australian Psychological Society (APS) National Schedule of Recommended Fees for 2025 indicates a standard 46- to 60-minute consultation fee of $318.

  • You may also be eligible to access services if you have a current NDIS plan, with Plan and Self Managed funds.

    Private Health insurance may also cover costs depending on your cover - please contact your Private Health insurance in the first instance to clarify your cover and eligibility.

  • For initial appointments, please contact us directly via the Contact box or email info@vitranpsychology.com and we will get back to you via email or phone.

  • As per our policy, at least 48 hours notice is required prior to your scheduled session time for any alterations to your appointment time (cancellations and rescheduling). If you cancel or change your appointment with less than 48 hours notice, you will be charged 50% of your session fee.  If you cancel or change your appointment less than 24 hours or non-attendance without advice, this will incur a full fee.

    To ensure you will not be charged, please remember to reschedule or cancel your appointment as soon as possible. This will allow for patients on the waiting list to be seen and offered a service.
